Position Summary:
The Services Coordinator is a mid-management level salaried, supervisory, exempt position assigned to the Residential programs within the RWC. The Coordinator supervises RWC Service Managers and continues the training and development of mid-management personnel assigned to his/her case load. The Coordinator further demonstrates, and models the over-all successful development of assigned House Managers. The Coordinator demonstrates professionalism, leadership, excellent communication skills, knowledge and application of operating rules, policies, procedures, and practices of the RWC. The Services Coordinator oversees the operation and management of assigned locations and is a daily support to Service and House Managers. The Services Coordinator is able to work independently within the scope and range of their position. The Coordinator is under the guidance of a Director for approval, continued training, development, consistency, and support within the agency. The Services Coordinator demonstrates knowledge and understanding of professionalism and leadership and respects the roles of other management personnel and subordinates. The Services Coordinator works for the improvement, maintenance, success, and general well-being of the Ron Wilson Center, its clients, and its employees.
Qualified individuals are at least 18, have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent; current driver’s license; approval to work after a background check through the State of Oregon; excellent driving record, and proof of insurance.
Qualified applicants understand and demonstrate professionalism and leadership within the agency, at various meetings, and within the community; demonstrate the following, (not all inclusive): Management, and communication skills, have the ability to multi-task, computer skills, work successfully in a team environment; be a positive and professional team player and have experience, knowledge, be proficient with the ISP/PBSP process; working knowledge of OAR’s; Two years of management experience with RWC or comparable agency. Minimum two years of experience with ID/DD population desired and previous experience and/or education.
